A Pox in Our House is episode fifteen of the first season of Full House. It originally aired on January 29, 1988.
Stephanie gets the chicken pox and it starts to spread. Meanwhile, D.J. gets invited to her first Honeybee mother/daughter sleepover since Pam's death, and Joey gets the chicken pox as well. Danny made plans to go to a Golden State Warriors game for work, and Jesse agrees to watch Michelle because he claims to have gotten chicken pox as a child. However, when he speaks to his mother, she corrects him, saying that he had an allergic reaction to wool. So Jesse gets the chicken pox, too. Danny is unable to find a babysitter, so D.J. forgoes the slumber party to watch Michelle and take care of the rest of the family.
The episode title is a take on the phrase "A plague o' both your houses" (often quoted as "A pox on both your houses"), which is spoken by the character Mercutio in the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.
The tune that Danny hums as he spins the basketball in preparation for him covering the Warriors practice session and game is "Sweet Georgia Brown", which is the theme song for the Harlem Globetrotters (who are known for their basketball-spinning skills).
