Full House Moments - Jesse Cant Play Basketball
Plot Summary
Danny, Jesse, and Joey will be playing as the blue team in a celebrity basketball game for a charity, appropriately called "Baskets for Bayview". D.J. is their head coach, with Kimmy coaching for their opponents, the yellow team, and the first team to score 12 baskets/points is the winner. Jesse agrees to take part in the game. The problem is, he clearly does not have any basketball skills. NBA superstar Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the celebrity referee for the game, and Jesse gets some pointers from him. After that, Jesse sets out to prove to Nicky and Alex that he's not "a total loser." However, because of a trip to the restroom, Nicky and Alex are not looking when Jesse puts in the game-winning shot.
Also, Becky, who does not have the heart to be honest about an awful-looking blouse that Stephanie made for her at school, opts instead to wear it to the game.
Guest star
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar appears as himself. Per D.J., he had the following accolades at the time of taping: the NBA's all-time leading scorer, voted MVP six times, and considered one of the best players in the history of basketball. He played for the Milwaukee Bucks and LA Lakers, the latter of which he was part of the "Showtime" era with Magic Johnson; Jabbar would quickly pass the ball to Johnson, who would pass it to such players as Byron Scott and James Worthy for a finishing layup or a slam dunk.

- The episode title is a take on Air Jordan, the brand of footwear and athletic clothing by Nike, Inc. and endorsed by Michael Jordan
- Two years after this episode aired, the movie Air Bud came out in theaters, starring Buddy (credited as "Buddy the Wonder Dog" in the end credits), the first golden retriever to play Comet
- Instead of the stills normally seen, we see Jesse shooting some more hoops for Becky and the twins to see, and it is completely dark
