The gang plans an '80s-themed bash at the repurchased Smash Club later that night as issues being resolving for a few members of the family such as Becky being re-hired (minus Danny), Joey and Jesse being co-owners of The Smash Club, Jimmy reassuring Stephanie that they can always adopt if surrogacy doesn't work, Steve turning down the Los Angeles Lakers offer to be with D.J. and Danny being reunited with Vicky after many years apart.
At The Smash Club, Jackson makes up with both Ramona and Rocki for being upset earlier over calling Ramona a "friend-stealer" and Rocki not considering herself his girlfriend. Rose shows up as Max's date and D.J. reveals that she accepted Steve's job for him and they can wait to be together in six months.
