Recap

When Edna, an elderly yet feisty woman, guest stars on Wake Up, San Francisco with spirited stories about her bungee jumping hobby, Becky is inspired to spice up her own life with this thrilling new experience. Upset to learn that Becky is seriously going through with this, Jesse does his best to talk her out of it, but his efforts only result in friction between the couple.

Meanwhile, when Michelle convinces Danny to let her attend a concert with DJ, Stephanie, who was originally supposed to go with DJ, conspires with DJ and forces Michelle to surrender. But will the girls soften when they realize the real reason why their baby sister wanted to attend the show so much?

Trivia

  • Becky reveals that when she was ten, she had gotten the nickname "Lowboard Donaldson" after becoming scared of the high diving board at a swimming pool. Danny reveals that he got the nickname "Shallow End Tanner" at a swimming pool by some sophomores when he was in college.

Quotes

Jesse: Becky, I know why you're doing this. You're trying to get back at me for all the times I made you worry. Well, you know what? It worked; I'm worried. You win. Sit down, relax, have a muffin. (takes a muffin from the plate and puts it on the table)
Becky: Jess, this has nothing to do with you. I'm doing this for that little girl back in Nebraska - Lowboard Donaldson.
Jesse: (looks puzzled) Is that your cousin with the one eyebrow?
Becky: That's Celeste.
Jesse: Oh, oh, oh.
Becky: I'm Lowboard. When I was ten, I went to the public swimming pool with all my friends, and we decided we would jump off the high diving board. Well, I climbed all the way to the top, I took one look down, and I chickened out. By the time I got back down to the bottom, I had a new nickname: Lowboard.
Danny: You know, I can relate to that, actually. You won't believe this. I got my nickname at a swimming pool too - "Shallow End Tanner". (sighs) College sophomores can be so cruel. (Jesse and Becky give him looks)
