|Trouble in Twin Town|
|Season 6, episode 7|
|Air date||November 10, 1992|
|Next||The Play's the Thing|
Becky's rich and snobby cousin Dick Donaldson has arrived in town from Nebraska with his wife Donna and twin daughters Debbie and Darla. They have come to town to attend a convention for twins, where a "favorite twins" contest will take place. As soon as Dick arrives, he and Jesse start trading insults. Jesse can't stand Dick because of his snobby attitude. Jesse tells Dick that if he were his mechanic, he would be having brake problems. Dick tells Jesse that it was a smart move when he decided not to enter Nicky and Alex in the contest, because they should not be put through that kind of rejection. That remark pushes Jesse too far, and he decides to enter Nicky and Alex in the contest after all. Becky does not like the fact that the reason why Jesse entered the boys is because he is on a mission to take Dick down a few pegs.
Nicky and Alex beat Debbie and Darla, and Dick is absolutely stunned that his daughters finished in second place. A pair of muscle-bound twins escort a protesting Dick out of the building. Later, Becky finally admits to Jesse that Dick is a snobby jerk who did not deserve to win.
Meanwhile, Stephanie receives some tips from D.J. on how to attract a guy, and when she meets Andrew and Thomas, a pair of twin boys her age at the contest, she will do anything to win them over – even if it means pretending that she is also a twin. Stephanie borrows D.J.'s hat and sweater to try and prove it. When it eventually fails, she confesses to the boys that the reason she said that she had a twin was because she likes them. They say that they like her too, then proceed to good-naturedly fight over her. Stephanie says that there is enough of her to go around.
Mark Linn Baker plays Becky's cousin Dick Donaldson. He is best known for starring as Larry Appleton on "sister show" Perfect Strangers (1986–1993), and is the show's voice-over for syndication repeats ("Perfect Strangers is a Miller-Boyett Production, in association with Lorimar Television/Warner Bros. Television, and is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.").
The Twins Contest takes place at the Moscone Convention Center in Downtown San Francisco.
